Kristina's passion and desire for helping canines has shown through her dedication to them since 1997. Over the course of her 23 years in the dog grooming profession (now retired), she researched other ways she could help dogs feel and move better. Often times, when pet parents would drop off their dog for a day at the ‘spa’, pet owners would mention that the dog has arthritic legs, an old back injury or hip dysplasia. Kristina recognized that relieving sore pets was where her future lay.
Kristina is Board Certified in canine massage through the National Board of Certification for Animal Acupressure and Massage (NBCAAM). Additionally, she studied EcoSomatics for small animals at Upledger Institute. Being experienced with these advanced soft tissue modalities, really allows her to facilitate healing in her patients. Anxious, healthy, painful or ill pets can all benefit from what she has to offer.
She likes to incorporate the use of Young Living and AnimalEO essential oils every day at work and home. One of her favorite techniques to apply on animals is the Raindrop in a Bottle (or AromaBoost for those who use AnimalEO).
In her free time, Kristina enjoys traveling, wakeboarding, boating, watersports of any kind, cooking, and exercise. She really dives into clean living, anything natural or health related, holistic remedies, carnivore raw nutrition and chiropractic care for animals. At home she has a Boston Terrier (age 13 and raw fed), and two cats ages 10 and 14 years.
